Driving to Lynnwood Washington
It is easy to reach Lynnwood by automobile. And once you get there, parking is plentiful and free! Lynnwood is conveniently at the intersection of two major freeways, Interstate 5 and Interstate 405. Interstate 5 is the North/South interstate that passes through Portland, Olympia, Tacoma and Seattle and goes all the way to Vancouver BC. Interstate 405, merges with Interstate 90 the State’s major East /West connector, in Bellevue. Reaching Lynnwood from the North, South or the East is an easy freeway drive. If you are coming from the West, water transportation including the Washington State Ferry is an option.
From Vancouver BC, north of Lynnwood, take I-5 south to Exit 181. This is a approximate 2 ½ hour drive and does require a border crossing. Be sure to bring photo ID or proof of residency.
From Seattle and points South, including Tacoma, Olympia and Portland take I-5 north to Exit 181. Lynnwood to Portland is a 3 hour drive, Tacoma is just under an hour away
From Bellevue and points east, take I-405 westbound, exit onto I-5 south to Lynnwood, Exit from I-5 south at Exit 181. Spokane in Eastern Washington is a 4 ½ hour drive, Belleveu is a mere 25 minutes away.
