Train Transportation to Lynnwood
Amtrak serves Lynnwood with stations in Edmonds, Everett and Seattle. The Edmonds station, open between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm is located on the Edmonds waterfront, just 5.5 miles from downtown Lynnwood. Most Lynnwood hotels offer free shuttle service to and from the Edmonds Amtrak station.
The Coast Starlight one of the most scenic of all train routes, connects the great cities of America’s West Coast–from Seattle to Los Angeles. En route, the Coast Starlight passes through Portland, Eugene, Sacramento, San Jose and Santa Barbara.

Amtrak Cascades offers daily service between Edmonds and Vancouver, Canada. Leave Edmonds in the morning, enjoy a scenic ride along the Puget Sound into Canada, have lunch and spend the day shopping and touring Vancouver and then return to Edmonds in the evening.

The Sounder is a weekday commuter rail service, but does operate to select events on select weekends such as mariners and Seahawks games. The Sounder stops in Edmonds, just 5 miles West of Lynnwood. Most Lynnwood hotels offer shuttle service to the Edmonds station. The fare form Edmonds to Seattle is $3.50, from Seattle to Tacoma is $4.74.
