Take a walking tour of Lynnwood’s collection of public art!
You can stop by the Lynnwood Recreation Center and walk on a world-class Reflexology Path. Step next door to the Lynnwood Senior Center and see prized Jacob Lawrence pieces then continue on to Lynnwood City Hall to view a superb glass vessel by renown glassblower, William Morris. If you are interested in northwest art, the Arts Commission hosts an in the Lynnwood library art gallery that features rotating exhibits of local artists.
The Lynnwood Public Facilities District Art Committee has partnered with the Lynnwood Convention Center to bring public art exhibitions to the Center for the past six years. These exhibitions are on display at the Lynnwood Convention Center and are FREE to the public!
- The exhibitions are rotated twice a year and with each installation there is an Artist Reception where the artists themselves can talk about their work and answer questions from the public.
- The mediums vary from painting, photography, and mixed media to contemporary quilting.
- The public is welcome to come and view the current art exhibits during Convention Center regular business hours, Monday-Friday 8:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M.
