Is shopping your activity of choice?  Then you have come to the right place!  Alderwood, Lynnwood’s lifestyle center, is the region’s destination shopping center combining over 200 shops and restaurants in a beautiful indoor-outdoor Lynnwood shopping experience.  Lynnwood is now home to the newest American Girl located in Alderwood mall.  Adjacent to Alderwood you will find Nordstrom Rack, DSW (coming soon), Old Navy, and Babies R Us.  Head north on Interstate 5 and in 20 minutes you will be at Seattle Premium Outlets, the region’s most popular outlet mall with 110 stores including Coach, Brooks Brothers and Coldwater Creek.

Do you want to immerse yourself in the local history and culture?  Start with a tour of Lynnwood’s Heritage Park and learn about the community’s past and the role of eggs and transportation in the development of the city.  Head North on Interstate 5 for 20 minutes to the Hibulb Cultural Center (scheduled to open in the summer of 2009) and immerse yourself in the historical and artistic culture of the Tulalip Tribes. You will learn more about the history of Washington State at the University of Washington’s Burke Museum, just 10 minutes South on Interstate 5.  Of course Seattle has a world class Art Museum, the Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Museum and the Pacific Science Center-something for everyone.
