is located 1 hour and 15 minutes north east of Lynnwood.. With over 1,125 acres of skiable terrain Stevens Pass is one of the area’s premier ski resorts. The downhill skiing area boasts 37 primary runs and 10 lifts. The variety of terrain ensures there will be memorable experiences for the novice and the expert alike. If cross country is you sport of choice visit the Nordic Center at Stevens Pass. The Nordic Center is located 5 miles east of the Stevens Pass Alpine Ski Area on Highway 2 and is one of the sites for Regional Biathlon races. The natural and historic setting for cross country, skate skiing, show shoeing offers lessons, rental gear and Nordic retail shop and a variety of food.
Snoqualmie Summit is located just oven an hour from Lynnwood. The Resort offers 6 base areas catering to the advanced skier, the novice, families and the Nordic skiers.
Alpental, called by many the most beautiful and challenging terrain in the state has 302 skiable acres plus 500 acres of backcountry. There are some beginner and intermediate runs, but the area caters to the advanced skier.
Summit West, formerly known as Snoqualmie Summit, features some of the best learning environment and terrain at The Summit. West has almost 200 acres of skiable/ridable terrain. In addition to chairlifts and rope tows Summit West features a magic carpet, which will give you and/or your child the best opportunity to learn how to ski or snowboard. Summit West also features the West 52nd Freestyle Park and the West Greenhorn Park.
Summit Central has every type of terrain for every type of ability. From a superpipe to black diamonds to beginner runs to top-to-bottom terrain parks to glades to tubes, this is the heart of The Summit. And now the heart has easier access thanks to a heated walkway and high-speed chairlift.
Summit East is a secluded place beyond crowds There is consistent fall line terrain, glade runs and the Nordic Center’s 50 kilometers of skate and classic groomed trails. Summit East is open on Saturday and Sunday, allowing all that snow to pile up during the week.

Not ready for the skis or snowboard? Snowtubing at The Summit Tubing Area is the best way for the whole family to enjoy some winter mountain fun! TheTubing Area offers machine groomed lanes, commercial grade tubes with covers, and surface tows which pull you back to the top of the hill. The Tubing Area is a weekend operation maintaining hours Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
