Local Professional Sports | Seattle Sports Teams

Seattle and Everett are home to a number of professional sports teams.  In the Spring and Summer, baseball reigns.  The Seattle Mariners major league baseball team play at the beautiful Safeco Field in Seattle, an easy 30 minute drive.  The Everett Aqua Sox an affiliate of the Mariners is a minor league family oriented experience.  This family friendly outdoor stadium hosts a variety of summer time events before and after games including firework shows and activities for kids

For Basket Ball fans, take in a Seattle Storm game at Key Arena in Seattle at the Seattle Center.  This WNBA team was in the 2008 play offs and promises to be even stronger in 2009.

Have a hearty breakfast at you Lynnwood hotel then jump on board a rooter bus and head to Qwest Field to watch the Seattle Seahawks tear up the gridiron.  Or if you are more of a college football fan, see if the University of Washington Huskies are in town.  Husky Stadium overlooks beautiful Lake Washington and is worth the visit.

If Ice Hockey is your sport, you can choose between the Everett Silvertips and the Seattle Thunderbirds, both members of the Western Hockey league.  Tickets are available at the arena or on line.
