Your Guide to the Outdoors in Lynnwood Parks

It’s National Get Outdoors Day, and to many Lynnwood is an urban basecamp. However, locals know that Lynnwood is more than shopping and one-of-a-kind dining. We also boast many recreational opportunities with more than 350 miles of available parkland for you to explore. Whether you are looking to get outside today or in the future, Lynnwood has a park or trail for everyone.

Lynnwood has 17 city parks, 14 miles of trails, a city-operated golf course, and access to some of the nation’s best national parks. Here’s a quick guide on how you can spend a day in the natural beauty of the PNW.

Bike the Interurban Trail

The Interurban Trail is a 24-mile paved biking, walking, and rolling path connecting North Seattle to Everett. This is the perfect trail to visit our regional neighbors without the use of a car. The trail passes through Lynnwood and can be accessed from the South Lynnwood Park and Lynnwood Transit Center. Take a break from your activity by shopping at Alderwood Mall located adjacent to the trail.
