Give a one of kind creation from Pacific Northwest artists.  Gallery North in Edmonds displays and sells a variety of works from local artists, including ceramics, paintings, wood works, and more!

The Schack Shop at the Schack Art Center sells art from over 170 regional artists.   Don’t just shop the Schack, be sure to explore this entire visual art center.  With free admission, you can explore the exhibit galleries, watch professional glassblowers, or visit the hot shop, a specialized production studio for stained glass, iron works, and even flameworking.

Start here Lynnwood! Holiday shopping in EdmondsThe Holiday Market, open every Saturday in December on Fifth Ave in Edmonds, offers a farmers market style holiday shopping experience.  Complete with local crafts, artisan foods, and unique locally-made gifts.  When you need a little break from shopping, hop on the Holiday Trolley and enjoy a relaxing and scenic ride to your next Edmonds destination.

Country Village in Bothell offers unique shopping in a quaint and festive setting with 45 specialty stores, antique shops, and restaurants.  Kids will enjoy paying a visit to Santa’s Workshop and the live reindeer!

Water slides at the Lynnwood Recreation Center in Lynnwood WaA Lynnwood family favorite is the Lynnwood Recreation Center, complete with two water slides, a lazy river, and water playground.

The Lynnwood Bowl & Skate is bowling alley and roller rink in one, serving up family fun and great food, with modern amenities and retro vibe!

Be delighted with the holiday magic at Snowflake Lane in Bellevue.  Every night between November 23 and December 23 at 7:30PM experience a parade of your favorite holiday characters and music, complete with falling snow!

Making its debut in Seattle, Enchant Christmas will transform Safeco Field into a twinkling holiday maze with giant Christmas trees, larger than life ornaments, snowflakes, and Santa.

The Bellevue Botanical Garden is transformed into a magical display, Garden D’Lights, with over a half million lights, in whimsical shapes or plants, flowers, animals and waterfalls.

Winterfest at Seattle Center is filled with free and affordable children’s activities and spirited entertainment, including an ice rink, student showcase performances, model train display, and ice carving.

Fall Scenic Drives from Lynnwood

Explore the Pacific Northwest with a Washington scenic drive this fall!

Lynnwood is located just 16 miles north of Seattle, in beautiful Snohomish County.  And with its convenient location, Lynnwood offers easy access to explore the Pacific Northwest.

Fall is a perfect time to discover more of the coast. Take a scenic ferry ride west to Kingston and explore the Olympic Peninsula, head northeast to explore the famous Cascade Loop, or head north to Chuckanut Drive.  From mountains and rivers to beautiful views of the Puget Sound, you can easily explore the natural beauty in the Pacific Northwest from Lynnwood while enjoying some of Washington’s best fall drives.

North Olympic Peninsula

Distance: 73 miles one-way

Catch an early morning ferry from the Edmonds ferry dock into Kingston. Be sure to pack your camera and binoculars as this route is full of history with maritime heritage, military landmarks and wildlife viewing. Lots of side stops with Fort Flagler State Park, Port Townsend and Point No Point lighthouse. Certainly a history buffs favorite, this route allows a stroll through Port Gamble, a perfectly preserved National Historic District. Learn More >>

Cascade Loop

Distance: 440 miles, 4-5 days

This incredible driving tour takes you through several cities and towns with numerous attractions and activities along the way. With such a diverse landscape of lush forests, urban centers, jagged mountain peaks and more, you’ll find yourself in some of Washington’s less traveled and most beautiful areas. Chuckanut Drive

Distance: 21 miles

Drive along the Puget Sound’s rocky coastline as you view the local flora color change. At it’s southern most location, just outside of Burlington, you’ll find the need to stretch a little and do some exploring. Bay View State Park and the 11,000-acre Padilla Bay National Estuarine Sanctuary offer foot trail systems for a little adventure outside the car. Several roadside view points over the San Juan Islands where you can take a turn at clamming or saltwater shore fishing. End your trip in Fairhaven, a hip little red-brick-lined town offering up cute little cafes, parks and shops. Learn More >>

Summer Fun in Lynnwood

Sports, theater, heritage and more summer fun in Lynnwood, WA!

Pack a picnic, grab a blanket and head to the Lynndale Park Amphitheater for Shakespeare in the Park.  These outdoor performances are free ($5 donation suggestions) and fun for the whole family!  This summer’s schedule includes The Merry Winves of Windsor, King Lear, Henry IV, and Three Musketeers.

What goes better with summer than baseball?  If you’re a baseball fan and visiting Lynnwood this summer, an Everett Aqua Sox game at the Everett Memorial Stadium is a must!  Tickets range from $9 to $18 and every seat has a great view of the field in this small stadium.  If you don’t like reserved seating or bleachers, grab a general admission ticket and a blanket and enjoy the game from a grass hill.  There is a huge lawn with bouncy houses for little ones to run, stretch their legs and burn some energy between innings.

Learn about Lynnwood’s history, tour the fully restored Interurban Trolley Car, explore the NW Veteran’s Museum, and marvel in the oddities at The Museum of Curious Things at Lynnwood’s History & Heritage Days at Heritage Park.  There are two more events this summer!

The Arlington Fly-In, one of the most popular sport aviation events in the West, is happening July 6th – 8th.  See over 1,000 aircraft from powered parachutes to vintage planes.  Want a little more aviation and history?  Be sure to visit the Aviation District at Paine Field, including the Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum, Future of Flight Boeing Tour, and Historic Flight Foundation.

Spring Activities in Lynnwood Washington

Visit Lynnwood, WA in Spring – Washington Tulip Festival, Aviation Museums & More!

Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

Lynnwood, located just outside of Seattle WA, offers affordable accommodations at about 40% less than downtown, making it the perfect place to stay for your spring visit. Seating area for camping chairs is VERY limited (about 25 max). The Lynndale Park Amphitheater has main seating consisting of wood benches on concrete platforms. The Amphitheater was renovated to include environmental improvements, ADA accessibility, a paved path to the seating area and the addition of bleacher seating.
