Nothing beats a lazy summer afternoon in one of the many Lynnwood parks with a picnic lunch, a game of croquet and a nap in the shade! Lynnwood has over 350 acres of park land which includes 17 parks, over 100 acres of natural open space, and 14 miles of trails.

Parks in Lynnwood provide a wide range of recreation opportunities. Our parks include large open play areas, play equipment, sport courts, picnic shelters, spray parks, athletic fields, a skate park, amphitheater and much more! Lynnwood Heritage Park

Come experience the history of the area from its roots at Alderwood Manor in the 1920’s at Lynnwood Heritage Park!

The Wickers Building, constructed in 1919 by the Puget Mill Company, the Wickers Building was the first general store and post office in Alderwood Manor. The two-story Tudor-style building included the store, post office and storeroom on the first floor, with living quarters for the storekeeper and his family on the second floor.

Interurban Trolley Car 55 is a 1909 Interurban single-ended wooden electric rail car. It is one of six cars that provided commuter service from Alderwood Manor to Seattle and Everett from 1910 to 1939.

Interurban Trail

Walk, jog or ride your bike on the Interurban Trail! The Interurban Trail runs through Lynnwood with almost 4 miles of paved surface for walking, jogging, and biking! The trail generally follows the route used by the Interurban Trolley that ran from 1910 to 1930 between Everett and Seattle.

Lynndale Park

Explore Lynnwood’s largest park! At Lynndale Park you’ll find 22 acres of preserved native forest and a variety of amenities including a skate park, amphitheater, sports fields, play equipment, walking trails and picnic shelters. During the summer, the amphitheater nestled deep in the trees features summer performances of Shakespeare in the Park.

Competition softball fields, a walking trail, and play structure! The Meadowdale Playfields athletic complex includes 3 lighted competition softball fields, 2 lighted soccer fields, and a concession building. Scriber Lake Park

Scriber Lake Park is a quiet natural refuge, preserved in the center of Lynnwood – a hidden gem in the middle of the city! Scriber Lake Park provides a home to a variety of wildlife including fish, waterfowl, songbirds and small mammals. A great place for a quiet stroll!

South Lynnwood Park

Lynnwood’s newly renovated park, South Lynnwood Park is filled with tons of activities for the whole family. With a mixture of forested and developed park, you’ll find a playground, walking path, basketball courts, pickleball, public restroom, tennis courts, and more.
